RAPID TRANSFORMATIONAL THERAPY

Rapid Transformational Therapy has been developed by the world-renowned hypnotherapist Marissa Peer. Marissa has perfected this method of therapy over 30 years working with and learning from her clients and as one of her graduates, I now use RTT as part of my practice. It is a highly effective, ‘rapid’ process that bypasses the need for long term therapy by offering a combination of the most beneficial principles of CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Psychotherapy and of course, Hypnotherapy.  It can help with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, lack of confidence, weight problems... the list goes on.

So how does it work? Using hypnosis as a simple way of accessing the subconscious mind, the root cause of the ‘presenting’ problem is identified. This root cause can be something simple; a negative comment that you received as a child, a rejection or a slight which has left you with a belief that you are not good enough or unworthy in some way.  Other events can fuel this belief and lead to destructive thoughts that typically result in low self-esteem, weight issues, anxiety, lack of confidence..you get the picture. Then, using specific therapy tools during the session, these negative beliefs are replaced with positive, empowering beliefs.

After the session, a personalized recording is listened to daily, deepening and solidifying the new beliefs and positive patterns. This recording must be listened to for 21 days. Studies have shown it takes up to 3 weeks for new habits and beliefs to be cemented in the mind. These new beliefs will help you overcome the negative patterns that have evolved over your lifetime.

 

All of my sessions take place over Zoom which has proven just as effective as ‘in-person’ sessions.

It is absolutely possible to be hypnotized in a virtual space! Clients are secure in their own surroundings and often feel tired afterwards. Being able to relax in the comfort of your own home is a benefit you’ll definitely appreciate.

What is RTT?

The process explained step by step:

 

Step 1) Free 20 minute consultation. This is an opportunity for you to ask me any questions and to share your reasons for getting in touch.

Step 2) Once you have made the decision to proceed with RTT, I will send you a contract and basic intake form for you to complete before our first session. This gives me an insight into how I can tailor the session to suit your individual needs.

 

Step 3) The RTT session, which lasts approximately 2 hours. This will be done over Zoom and is just as effective online as in person.

 

Step 4) I will make a personalized recording for you to listen to for 21 days consecutively. This is yours to keep and can be used as a source of support at any stage of your life.

 

Step 5) Regular check-ins post session by text or email followed by a review call at the end of the 21 day period.
