Why take action now?
I understand it can be difficult acknowledging that we need help and expressing our
vulnerabilities. Often, we don’t know what is bothering us or we feel shame that we
aren’t ‘coping’. There are so many reasons that stop us from simply saying to
ourselves (or to another person) ’I am struggling’. We try to ‘get a grip’ and tell
ourselves it’ll pass. Does any of this resonate? You are not alone! Everyone needs
help at some point in their lives and there is absolutely no shame in this. Therapy is
simply a structured way of helping you through those struggles.
I also understand that for most people, money is an issue. We all want guaranteed
results if we are to spend our hard-earned cash. There is an abundance of self-help
books out there, that can be incredibly..well..helpful! I’d be very happy to recommend some as part of your ongoing support. But in my experience the long-term benefit of working with a trained professional to kick start the changes you want to make, will make your choice of RTT the best value for money currently out there.
